Interview Opportunities and Media Credentials
(AUSTIN, TX) June 17, 2014 –The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) will hold its annual national convention in Austin on June 19 – 22. Their keynote speaker is Arne Duncan, U. S. Sect. of Education, who, in conjunction with the national PTA, are cheerleaders for the Common Core.
In response to that event, Women On the Wall has partnered with several organizations (Heritage Foundation, Eagle Forum, Family Research Council, Voices Empower, Montgomery County Tea Party, and the Highland Lakes Tea Party) to hold a COUNTER Conference across the street from the Convention Center. The Solutions Conference will feature some of the most prominent voices who have come together to end the federal takeover of K-12 public education.
Interview opportunities are now being scheduled for speakers and workshop presenters. For credentials, please contact Alice Linahan (Media Contact); or register online at MEDIA CREDENTIALS. Please fill out Media Request Form. Only those who have approved media credentials will be given a scheduled interview, time permitting at the event.
The deadline for advance media registration is close of business on Thursday, June 19, 2014. Confirmations of admittance will be made via email. Onsite media registration will be available, contingent on availability; but advance registration is strongly encouraged.
Credentials can be picked up at the event’s media table starting at 8:00 A.M. on June 20. All credentials are nontransferable and must be accompanied by a current photo ID.
A full itinerary of the conference agenda is located at www.CANiSEE.org under the The Event tab labeled Agenda.
