* Outline of  Presentations

Objective of presentation is to inform about CSCOPE and Action Plans for removing CSCOPE from Our Texas Schools.

  • How does CScope direct what is taught in the classroom?
  • Interested in what CScope is teaching your children in school today?
  • Wonder why your child is using a computer instead of a book?
  • Have you seen any of your child’s work or test scores recently?

To learn what is being taught in the classroom under CScope, you are invited to a FREE presentation, 9:30-11:30 am, Saturday, April 13th at Independent Bank, 1503 Rivery Blvd., Georgetown (Next to the City Lights movie theatre).

Parents across Texas are asking: “WHY?” Why is our school district spending money every year to lease CSCOPE? Where are the textbooks? Why have schools stopped teaching spelling, geography, cursive, and multiplication facts?

Concerned citizens will learn the answers to these questions and more in this important update on the state of our educational system. In this dynamic presentation you will learn ways that you can take a stand and make a difference. Please join us.

    I live in Anna, and Anna ISD use to show on their website that the curriculum used is CSCOPE. I have checked again 11/1/13, and CSOPE doesn’t appear to be shown as their curriculum. Not that their site explains that they are participants of CSOPE, but doesn’t clearly explain if they use CSOPE anymore. I have checked here on this website and see that Anna ISD is still listed as a CSOPE curriculum base. Can you clarify to me the curriculum Anna ISD uses at this time?

    I have a child in the tenth grade and I am still concerned that CSCOPE is being used, but hidden from the parents now that we are learning what is in this curriculum. The Anna ISD website is now confusing. I appreciate anything you can explain before I head to the Anna ISD Administration.

      Everything about CSCOPE is secret. Call your school and ask if they are giving test supplied by the local Education Service Center. If so, the school is still using CSCOPE but it is under another name.
